Liverpool boss Arne Slot passed on condolences to Erik ten Hag after his Manchester United sacking and predicted he would manage a 'big club' again in the near future.
Ten Hag oversaw United's worst start to a Premier League campaign this term and was sacked following Sunday's defeat to West Ham, which left the club 14th in the table.
After joining United from Ajax in 2022, Ten Hag enjoyed an excellent first season in charge, but the wheels fell off in his second year.
United finished eighth in the Premier League, recording a minus goal difference, but Ten Hag still managed to win the FA Cup.
