Angus Gunn insists he’s never been more ready to follow in his dad’s footsteps and become Scotland number one after confirming he’s switched allegiance from the Three Lions to the Lion Rampant.
The Norwich City shotstopper says nobody is happier with his decision than his old man - former Aberdeen and Norwich star Bryan who won six caps between 1990 and 1994.
Gunn’s decision comes after talks with Steve Clarke ahead of this month’s European Championship qualifying double header against Cyprus and Spain at Hampden.
Clarke will name his squad on Tuesday and the 27-year-old - who has been capped right through the age groups by England including 12 times at U21 level - is expected to feature.
