Kenny McLean says his heroics for Scotland in Norway are right up there with his career highlights as he aims to make more magical memories with the national side this month.
The Norwich City midfielder, who hails from Cambuslang, played a huge role in taking the team to Euro 2024 in Germany after scoring a last-gasp winner in Oslo last June to complete a dramatic turnaround against Erling Haaland's side.
Scotland trailed 1-0 heading into the final few minutes before Lyndon Dykes levelled and then McLean popped up to sweep home from a Dykes lay off to grab a pivotal three points in qualification.
McLean is in the provisional squad for Germany and could feature in a friendly against Gibraltar tonight, which is one of two warm-up matches ahead of the tournament opener against the hosts on June 14 in Munich.
And what the Tartan Army would give to see something similar from McLean and Co in their first major tournament on foreign soil since the France '98 World Cup.
Recalling his goal on the Scotland documentary 'Die Reise: Scotland's Journey to Euro 2024', McLean - who won the English Championship twice with Norwich - said it is undoubtedly a career highlight.
He said: "It still brings a smile to my face and, hopefully, a lot of people's faces.
"I don't know why I was that far up the pitch because the point would have been good. But as soon as the ball goes up, it breaks to McGinn - he still claims that it was a cutback, I don't know if it was a shot or not, but we'll take it as a cutback. Dykesy sets it up perfectly for my right foot, which is not too reliable normally, but, thankfully, that time it was.
"It is just a moment that will always be right up there with highlights of my career. Other goals that I've scored
