Ange Postecoglou and Michael Beale were caught up in an awkward interaction ahead of Celtic facing Rangers for the Viaplay Cup.

Postecoglou's men will look to defend their crown at the National Stadium while Beale hopes to claim his first trophy since stepping into the Ibrox hot seat during Sunday's blockbuster showdown.

The rival bosses have been battling for the Scottish Premiership crown since the Londoner replaced Gio van Bronckhorst but both have the chance this weekend to claim the first piece of silverware on offer in the Scottish football calendar.

The pair have had an exchange through the media already after Beale branded the Australian "lucky" due to the funds he has at his disposal at Celtic, with Postecoglou responding to his counterpart, admitting he's fortunate to be at the Parkhead club.
