Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana was given a night off by interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy as he started his temporary reign with a win.
However, the No.1 demonstrated his dedication by stepping on to the field to assist his fellow glove-men in their warm-up. Onana was one of four players from Erik ten Hag's final United XI who were not included in Van Nistelrooy's initial line-up as interim manager.
Rasmus Hojlund and Noussair Mazraoui were substitutes in a 5-2 victory over Leicester City, but Onana and Christian Eriksen were not part of the matchday squad.
Altay Bayindir started against Leicester, with veteran Tom Heaton as a substitute. Despite some shaky moments in just his second start of the season, Bayindir's performance didn't matter as two goals apiece from Casemiro and the captain Bruno Fernandes secured United's progression.
