Ally McCoist is set to link up with TNT Sports next season as the Rangers legend approaches decision time over his broadcasting commitments.

The Ibrox icon appears regularly on a variety of channels, including Amazon, talkSPORT, Sky and ITV but is set to join TNT Sports which is taking the place of BT Sport for the upcoming season.

It is reported by The Daily Mail that McCoist 'is to join TNT for the forthcoming season in another significant swoop.' It's a switch that comes with a caveat though, as the report states 'It remains to be seen what impact – if any – the move will have on McCoist’s other work with the radio station, Amazon Prime, Sky and ITV.' A possible situation according to the claims may be that 'covering a Champions League match and then being on air early the following morning, for example, may be a tough ask for the Rangers legend.' TNT's coverage includes Premier League football and they also have rights to Europe's premier club competition.

Laura Woods is rumoured to be in line to take over from Jake Humphrey as a presenter. McCoist has built a strong following for his punditry work north and south of the border and won Pundit of the Year at the Sport by the Sports Journalist Association earlier this year.
