Alex Lowry could be about to swap Rangers for Hearts as the Jambos have lined up a loan move for the attacker. Lowry has been a gem of the Ibrox academy in recent years, being rewarded for his play with first team appearances under Gio Van Bronckhorst and then Michael Beale.
But now it appears the 20-year-old could be set to cross the M8 and join Steven Naismith's men for the season ahead as he searches for regular game time, with the chances of continuing to break the Ibrox first team barrier being limited.
Lowry is se to turn to Gorgie in what would be a first loan move after reported interest from Northampton Town last month. The midfielder has often been hailed by ex-players and pundits alike as the 'future' of Rangers and a potential loan move to Hearts would allow the Light Blues to have a recall option for their starlet.
It comes as Beale looks to trim his squad following a new cohort of nine signings, with attacking firepower aplenty with the likes of Cyriel Dessers, Sam Lammers and Danilo.
