Aberdeen are expecting the first wave of summer interest in Bojan Miovski to come from Serie A. Bologna have been long-term admirers of their top scorer but the Dons have been alerted to the the fact that there are also several other Italian top-flights who also have him on their wanted lists.
Bologna have the cash as they are set to sell Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee to Manchester United for over £30 million and defender Riccardo Calafiori is also a £40 million target for Arsenal.
Aberdeen haven’t had bids yet but are aware that interest is growing in their 26 goal striker and several Italian clubs are likely to start the bidding.
The Dons are in a good position because Miovski still has two years left on his contract. They won’t put an asking price on the North Macedonian’s head and if a club wants to land him then they will need to get into the same ballpark when Aberdeen sold Calvin Ramsay for more than £6.5 million.
