Hibs are considering offering Junior Hoilett a return to the Scottish Premiership. Manager David Gray is looking to add to his side’s attacking options and the Canadian international is on his radar.
The 34-year-old is a free agent after leaving Aberdeen at the end of the season. Hoilett was offered an extension by the Dons but he stalled on it and new incoming boss Jimmy Thelin decided to move on to other targets last month.
Hoilett is now getting back to full fitness after he suffered an injury in training that cost him a place in the Copa America with Canada.
The former Queen’s Park Rangers winger impressed in his short-time at Aberdeen. He came to the fore under Peter Leven and chipped in with a number of goals and assists.
