Yang and Kwon in Celtic transfer touchdown as Brendan Rodgers readies triple signing swoop

Maik Nawrocki jetted into Glasgow earlier today ahead of his Celtic medical but he's now the only new kid in town.

South Korean duo Yang Hyeon-jun and Kwon Hyeok-kyu have also touched down ahead of completing their moves to the Premiership champions. Yang will cost £2.1million from Gangwon, who confirmed the wide man's departure last week, but Celtic were holding fire until everything was signed and sealed. Kwon is slightly less expensive at around £1million and the "Korean Rodri" leaves Busan I-Park to join Brendan Rodgers' squad.

They could be announced on Monday alongside Nawrocki in a triple transfer swoop. The Pole jetted in for a medical before putting pen to paper on a five-year deal. legia Warsaw will receive a fee of £4.3million for the centre back and all three will join up with their new teammates once they return from a pre-season tour of japan, which was rounded off on Saturday with a 1-0 win over Gamba Osaka.

The Korean duo have lofty ambitions for their time in Scotland. Kwon believes he can eventually establish himself as Celtic's best player, while Yang wants a move to England at some point. To do that, he's set a target of becoming one of the best in the country.
