WWE: Recently released name receives huge offer from adult entertainment company

WWE came to terms with the release of Jimmy Smith this week, the former lead commentator for Monday Night Raw.

Smith’s exit came as Triple H made wholesale changes to the announce teams for Raw, SmackDown and NXT, with Kevin Patrick now serving as Raw’s commentator.

Despite Smith’s departure from WWE only being announced yesterday, the ex-MMA announcer has already received a wild offer to get back into work.

So Smith is no longer working for WWE, which he confirmed in a statement on Twitter yesterday afternoon.

However, the Daily Star is reporting that adult webcam service CamSoda immediately reached out to Smith to offer him the opportunity to branch into a rather new career.

The company sent Smith the following email, according to the report, where they offered Smith a staggering salary of $500,000 to step into this new world, via WrestleTalk.

I’d like to extend you a contract offer to commentate on private adult webcam sessions for CamSoda, an adult entertainment webcam platform, for one year. In return for your role as an announcer, I’d be willing to compensate you up to $500,000.

The email details what CamSoda would expect Smith to do while he announces for the adult content, noting that he could provide “play-by-play”, as if he was commentating on a WWE show.

You’d provide the play-by-play for the steamy action happening on camera, as well as live events the company runs throughout the year including ‘Car Wars’ and beer pong.

At the time of writing, Smith has not publicly responded to the offer, and it’s unclear whether or not he’s considering this interesting new career path.
