WWE 2K23: Predicting the top five wrestlers on the new game

WWE 2K23 will be coming out next year so we’ve taken a look at which five wrestlers will have the top ratings in the game.

The new release has been confirmed in a recent earnings call from Take-Two and that means the likes of Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Bayley will all be coming to your console of choice soon enough.

WWE 2K23 will come hot on the heels of the successful 2K22, which was both a critical and commercial success earlier this year.

We’re expecting 2K23 to build on that success, especially as there is the looming spectre of competition from AEW’s video game, Fight Forever.

We’ve had a go at predicting the top five wrestler ratings in WWE 2K23, although we should say that we’ve excluded legends and icons from this, so it’s just active competitors!

Yeah, this one is pretty obvious.

The Tribal Chief has been the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion since WrestleMania and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

He’s the top guy in the company and we’d be absolutely stunned if Roman was not near the very top of the tree.

He’s made the jump from AEW and, while he may currently be injured, there’s next to no doubt that he will be a key player in WWE 2K23.

Cody was featured in a remarkably strong position prior to his injury, having a high-profile feud with Seth Rollins, and it’s fair to assume he’ll be regarded as one of the best on the roster on 2K23.

He might not be full-time, but he’s also not exactly on a legend’s deal just yet.

Lesnar is an absolute monster and he wrestled Roman in  hugely dramatic SummerSlam match just last month, which featured a tractor spot that saw the ring upended.

Brock is sure to be in the game and he’ll have a huge rating too.
