WWE Survivor Series 2022: When is the Premium Live Event?

WWE’s annual Survivor Series event is always one of the most anticipated on the calendar.

The Premium Live Event is set to emanate from Boston’s TD Garden this year, and it is set to be one of the most interesting shows under the new leadership within WWE.

Under Vince McMahon, of course, Survivor Series regularly consisted purely of brand warfare, as Raw and SmackDown went head-to-head.

That would often lead to storylines and feuds being brought to a halt, just so that the two brands could battle for supremacy.

This year, there could be changes however, given that Roman Reigns currently holds the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship; that means he is the top champion on both brands. While we’d love to see him wrestle himself, that feels unlikely and it could lead to the inclusion of NXT in the event.

The event will take place on November 26th, 2022.

Survivor Series has taken place in November of ever year since 1987, and is the second longest-running event in WWE history, only behind WrestleMania.

It is also regularly referred to as one of the ‘Big Five’, along with Mania, SummerSlam, the Royal Rumble and Money In The Bank.

As it stands, there are two Premium Live Events before Survivor Series; Extreme Rules comes first, in October, and there will be two PLEs in November, with the first being Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

We don’t have any information on which wrestlers will be going up against each other just yet, as there could well be title changes before Survivor Series.

The 2021 show saw Roman Reigns beat Big E in the main event, while the classic tag team match saw Team Raw, comprised of Seth Rollins
