Wolves exit news emerges as ace dubbed 'unbelievable' now wants out this summer - report

Wolves winger Francisco Trincao is reportedly unhappy at the club and will not be looking to sign a permanent deal at Molineux this summer.

The 22-year-old made the move to Wolves on a temporary basis last summer, joining from Barcelona in order to pick up more regular football.

While it was hoped that Trincao would be an inspired signing by Bruno Lage, he has instead flattered to deceive for too much of his time at the club.

The Spaniard has only chipped in with one goal and assist apiece in 24 Premier League appearances – a disappointing return, given his attacking nature.

According to O Jogo [via Sport Witness], Trincao ‘is not satisfied’ at Wolves currently and also wants to leave Barcelona when he returns to the club.

Barca ‘insist’ on the wide man being part of a swap deal for Adama Traore, but if not, they are willing to sell him elsewhere.

In truth, Trincao’s preference for leaving is no great issue for Wolves, with the youngster producing too many insipid performances throughout the campaign. He was hailed as ‘unbelievable’ for his talents by The Athletic’s Tim Spiers, but showed the issues in his game when Spiers was left disappointed by an ineffective display at Newcastle.

His aforementioned end product is simply not good enough for a player of his ilk and that will need to improve drastically if he is to be a success elsewhere.

With Pedro Neto fit again and the likes of Daniel Podence and Hwang Hee-chan also good wide options – the latter is expected to join permanently – Trincao is unlikely to be missed, especially if another winger joins this summer.

In other news, a report has dropped an interesting Wolves claim. Read more here.
