Wolves: 52 y/o now ‘strong contender’ to replace Lage at Molineux

Wolverhampton Wanderers managerial target Pedro Martins ‘ticks a lot of boxes’, according to journalist Dean Jones.

The Midlands outfit sacked former boss Bruno Lage following a 2-0 defeat to West Ham United over the weekend, a result which saw them enter the Premier League relegation zone.

Wolves ended last season in poor form following an impressive start, and Saturday’s result meant they had won just one of their previous 15 top-flight fixtures.
