UFC 280 is set to be one of the biggest events for the MMA promotion in 2022, but will Joe Rogan be in the commentary booth to call the action?The comedian, podcaster and Brazilian Ju-Jitsu practitioner has been on hand for some of the biggest events in company history, and UFC 280 looks set to be just as epic.

Charles Oliveira vs Islam Makhachev is scheduled to headline the event, with ‘Do Bronx’ looking to regain the UFC Lightweight Championship that he lost on the scales!

As confirmed by MMAFighting, Paul Felder will be replacing Rogan at the commentary desk for this mammoth fight card.

“With UFC 280 travelling to Abu Dhabi on Saturday, Felder will replace Rogan as part of the broadcast team calling the fights as the longtime colour commentator sits out the card due to the international travel” the site revealed.

The fight card will be taking place from Abu Dhabi on Saturday, and whilst it is one of the biggest events of the year for the company, it is not uncommon for Rogan to miss out on fight cards that take place outside of the United States.
