Rasmus Hojlund is out of Manchester United's Premier League game away to Nottingham Forest due to illness.
Hojlund scored his first Premier League goal in the Boxing Day comeback win over Aston Villa but he has not travelled to the City Ground.
Amad has replaced Hojlund for his first United first-team squad appearance since December 2021.

United have now recorded 35 separate cases of injury or illness that has led to a player missing a game this season.
Tyrell Malacia (knee), Harry Maguire (groin), Victor Lindelof (groin), Lisandro Martinez (foot), Casemiro (hamstring), Mason Mount (calf), Luke Shaw and Sofyan Amrabat are also out.
Amad was last included in a United squad against Young Boys in a Champions League group stage dead-rubber during Ralf Rangnick's tenure as interim manager.
The 20-year-old spent the second half of the 2021-22 season on loan at Rangers and he enjoyed a superb season-long loan spell with Sunderland in the Championship last term.
United head to Wigan in the FA Cup third round on January 8 but only play once in the Premier League next month - against Tottenham on January 14. Any FA Cup fourth round tie would also be held in the last weekend of January.
