Andy Newport: He certainly needs to clear some more of the deadwood out but having already waved goodbye to the likes of Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos and Allan McGregor I don't think Beale will be keen to lose any more big names. Glen Kamara and Scott Wright look the most likely to be leaving.

Michael Gannon:Beale will need to shift out some of the deadwood and it would be handy to make some dosh from a few fringe men as well. The agents of Glen Kamara, Antonio Colak, Scott Wright will be on the job and it might be time to cash in on Borna Barisic if a new contract isn’t signed.

David: Ange Postecoglou's departure was always going to slow down the process but I don't see any need to panic. Celtic will bring in good players and keeping their best player, Kyogo, in the building is a brilliant piece of business.
