Alejandro Garnacho rose with the agility of an Olympic gymnast to power home a stunning overhead kick into the top corner of Jordan Pickford's net just minutes into Sunday's match with Everton. Forget goal of the season contender, this is surely the goal of the season winner.

Whether you were watching in the ground, in the pub or at home; whether you are a fan or a player; you could not help but be swept up in an instant reaction. Some couldn't contain themselves, others were in shock.

Luke Shaw was in the latter category as he darted off to celebrate with his team-mate, hand over mouth in a state of surprise at what he had just witnessed from his position almost directly behind Garnacho. It was a scene mirrored all over the Goodison Park pitch.
