What managers have said about incoming Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund
Manchester United are on the verge of making their third major signing this summer with Rasmus Hojlund.
A £72million deal was agreed with Atalanta on Saturday for the 20-year-old and United will pay an initial £64m, with the final £8m set aside for performance and success-related add-ons.
Erik ten Hag had made Hojlund his prime target to fill the void up front, with the Dutchman desperate to add more attacking threat to his side. The Danish international scored 10 goals for Atalanta last season and already has six goals in as many caps for his country.

The striker's rise has been meteoric, starting at FC Copenhagen before moving on to Sturm Graz in Austria, where he spent two seasons before joining Atalanta last summer. At each club, he has impressed respective managers and has even warranted comparisons with one of the world's best.

“From the very first training sessions we were convinced that he has good characteristics for a boy who is only 19 years old," Gasperini said. "He has a bright future. He is very smart, I hope to help him grow and give him improvements that can help him.”
The Serie A side have definitely helped him develop and a strong season in Bergamo reached its peak with a scintillating performance during a 2-0 win at Lazio in February. Hojlund scored the second in the night but dominated his opponent
