What Man United players are saying behind Erik ten Hag's back as 6 stars 'want boss SACKED' amid squad mutiny
Erik ten Hag has reportedly left his Manchester United players miffed with his lack of charisma - leading to 'frequent comments' behind his back from influential stars in the dressing room.
And it's believed 'five or six' players in particular are close to leading a mutiny against the under-fire boss. United have lost more than half of their games this season and look to be spiralling under the Dutchman. His first season had plenty of promise as he won the League Cup and led them back into the Champions League, but they have won five and lost five in the Premier League already and just exited the competition they won last season with a 3-0 defeat to Newcastle.
They look to be spiralling fast and Ten Hag desperately needs a result away to Fulham in Saturday's early kick-off. According to various reports, though, it seems even that may only delay the inevitable with the players growing tired of his style of management. The Athletic say a number of players have been talking 'frequently' behind his back about what is described as a 'lack of charisma' - with his man management skills leaving plenty to be desired.
It's believed his disciplinarian, no-nonsense style of management has hurt his relationship with a number of players with his treatment of Jadon Sancho - who he has told won't play for him again until he apologises for comments about the manager on social media - a particular cause for concern. It was even reported Sancho was banned from the players' canteen and had lunch brought to him in a lunch box to eat by himself in the dressing room.
There are also at least 'five or six' players in the dressing room who actively want the boss sacked from his post. That's according to talkSPORT pundit, Gabby Agbonlahor,
