What Malik Tillman told PSV about Rangers but dressing room whispers come with a Champions League blind spot

Malik Tillman knows all about Rangers and it may play to the advantage of Champions League opponents PSV Eindhoven.

But there are some things the young American cannot get over Michael Beale and Co ahead of a do-or-die first leg at Ibrox as both sides look to put one foot in Europe's top competition. It was triumph for Beale's predecessor in Gio Van Bronckhorst against the Dutch outfit but like at Ibrox, there is a sheriff in town with Peter Bosz looking to complete a hat-trick of wins in Glasgow's south side. And the PSV gaffer reckons he's got the inside track on Rangers from the former loanee, but that he won't be keen to share it.

Tillman looked set to join Rangers on a permanent deal from Bayern Munich but the Bundesliga giants cancelled the option to buy for the 21-year-old. Now he's turned double agent for the Dutch giants after sealing a loan move, but forward Luuk de Jong reckons there's only so much the attacking midfielder can share, given how much the landscape has changed with new signings since he left.

Bosz, however, was more coy in his belief but did reveal he sought out Tillman one-on-one to learn more. He told PSV's Youtube: "I spoke with Malik myself, who was able to tell me some things about the team. [When asked to share more] Yes, but I'm not going to do that, we'll keep that neatly in the club but I know enough and that's important. He [Tillman] played here with these guys for a year so he could tell me something about the individual players and he worked with this manager, so I have something there."
