What Alejandro Garnacho thought of Sergio Reguilon's Manchester United debut
Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho has praised Sergio Reguilon after he made his debut for the club in the 3-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Tottenham Hotspur full-back arrived at Old Trafford on transfer deadline day after the Reds suffered an injury crisis in defence. Both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are injured and the 26-year-old has been brought in to fill the gap at left-back.
Against Arsenal prior to the international break Reguilon had to make do with a place on the bench but was given his first start as Aaron Wan-Bissaka was replaced in the starting XI and Diogo Dalot was moved to his preferred right-back role. After the game, the Spaniard shared his thoughts on the match.

He posted on Instagram: "Not the result we wanted but I am proud to have made my debut with Manchester United. Thanks Old Trafford for the welcoming."
In the comments section, Garnacho gave his verdict on Reguilon's performance. He replied: "Very good game bro," accompanied by a clapping emoji and a red love heart.
Unfortunately, it was not the winning start Reguilon dreamt of. United started well but Danny Welbeck's goal against the run of play was a blow.
Pascal Gross doubled the away side's advantage after the break and Joao Pedro put the match beyond doubt with a third. Hannibal Mejbri scored his first goal for the senior team moments later but it was only a consolation.
United will look to regroup on Wednesday night when they travel to Bayern Munich.
