West Ham targeting Hull City's Keane Lewis-Potter according to reports

Hull City's Keane Lewis-Potter is believed to be West Ham's prime target for a transfer swoop on the Championship this summer. A former Hammers employee as cited the Tigers' talented 21-year-old as being top of David Moyes' 2022/23 shopping list, according to a report on the72.co.uk website.

The London Stadium source also reckons the Europa League semi-finalists are one of many clubs interested in a move for Nottingham Forest winger Brennan Johnson, but accept that the could be outbid in any contest for his services and the City Ground outfit will also be in a stronger position to hold on to the 20-year-old if they can win promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs. Former Tigers chief Grant McCann labelled Lewis-Potter and Johnson the EFL's two best young talents when they both scored during a 2-1 loss at Forest in December and it appears that Moyes is now in agreement.

This season, Lewis-Potter and Jacob Greaves became the first players since Ahmed Elmohamady seven years ago to start every City league match in a campaign. The Hull-born winger also contributed 12 league goals and three assists despite his team finishing sixth-bottom in the second tier and recently bagged three player of the year awards.
