Keane Lewis-Potter wins the Hull Live Hull City Player of the Year award

Keane Lewis-Potter was your unsurprising choice as Hull City's Hull Live Player of the Year. The 21-year-old winger scooped 34.4 per cent of the vote after we asked readers to make their nominations for the 2021/22 season.

The England under-21 international will now add his award to those he won at the club's official presentation night, where he was crowned Supporters' Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year and Player of the Year - the last accolade chosen by head coach Shota Arveladze. Lewis-Potter and fellow home-grown talent Jacob Greaves became only the second and third Tigers players in the last 13 years to complete ever-present league campaigns this term, joining Ahmed Elmohamady in that small, elite band.

The skilful attacker also top scored for the club with 13 goals in all competitions and continues to attract interest from Premier League clubs. Greaves, meanwhile, finished second in our standings after polling 27.4 per cent of the votes.

He played every minute during his first season at second-tier level and, despite still only being 21, has now started a staggering 82 league games on the bounce for City - a run stretching back to November 2020. Winger George Honeyman placed third in the contest with a 19.5 per cent share of the votes, marking a season in which he started his 100th game for the club on Easter Monday and finished with five goals from 35 Championship outings.

A breakthrough campaign at the MKM Stadium for defender Sean McLoughlin (8.8 per cent) was also recognised, as he was voted the fourth-best player in 2021/22, finally establishing himself as a regular at the club by showing a good level of consistency across his 33 outings.
