Weather forecast for every Greater Manchester borough this weekend

Spring is yet to have sprung, but the weather has already started to get milder as we begin to emerge from the depths of winter. Slightly higher milder temperatures are expected this weekend, as well as rain.

For those of us who want like to dodge the showers, the Met Office has released exact meteorological charts that reveal where and when it will rain, or shine, across Greater Manchester. For many this weekend, it will rain early in the day, but then the skies will break during the afternoon - allowing us to pack away the brolly.

On Saturday, the heaviest rainfall will be over east Manchester for much of the morning and early afternoon, before clearing amid the mild late winter temperatures of up to 7C. The Met Office's outlook for next week is: "Turning drier and brighter through Monday and into Tuesday with easing winds though a return of unsettled weather with strengthening winds and rain possible on Wednesday. Often feeling chilly."

For much of east Manchester on Saturday, it will rain and drizzle for much of the morning followed by dry but overcast weather for much of the rest of the day. There is a chance of an evening shower for some.
