"We've got no justice": Tragedy of 'much-loved dad', 23, killed in motorbike crash

The family of a 'much-loved dad' who was killed in a motorbike crash say they have 'got no justice' following his death.

Kieran Scollins was riding on the bike with a friend when it collided with a car in Edge Lane, Droylsden. The 23-year-old forklift truck driver, from Clayton, suffered 'catastrophic' head injuries after being thrown from the bike.

He died in hospital the next day. An inquest at Manchester South Coroner’s Court today (Monday) heard that Kieran and his pal, Matthew Irlam, were travelling together on the Yamaha motorbike as it sped along Edge Lane in the early hours of August 7, 2021.

The bike rider attempted to avoid the crash but clipped the rear passenger side of the car. The impact caused both men to be thrown from the bike, hitting the car before landing in the road.

The crash was witnessed by a taxi driver and a couple, who went to help both men before the emergency services arrived and they were taken to hospital.

A scan showed Kieran had 'extensive head injuries', including multiple skull fractures. He
