'We are finished', 'If this is true Paratici is a joke' - Many Spurs fans erupt as claim emerges

Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left furious following claims on Twitter suggesting the club have Alvaro Morata on their list as a possible transfer target.

Reports in Spain have emerged suggesting the north London club have made an offer for the Atletico Madrid striker currently on loan at Juventus, with Spurs offering him a potential move to N17.

However, it is believed the striker is also receiving interest from Barcelona this month, as well as fellow Premier League side Newcastle United.

Antonio Conte came into the January window with a new striker believed to be on his radar in the hope of providing Harry Kane with some much-needed backup and support.

It has been a difficult month for Spurs, with no new arrivals as yet, while deals for Adama Traore and Luis Diaz were seemingly hijacked, but these fans made it clear they did not want to see Morata arrive in the final days of the window.

“WHEN DOES THE PAIN END”

The Spaniard’s time at Juventus may have been disrupted with the Old Lady closing in on the signing of reported Spurs target Dusan Vlahovic.

During his spell in the Premier League with Chelsea, Morata was able to net 16 goals over his 47 appearances in the English top flight (via Transfermarkt).

And after a steady start to the campaign with five goals and three assists in his 22 Serie A appearances, it seems these fans are not convinced Morata would be much of a success as Kane’s back-up striker.
