Watch rabid Ittihad fans STORM stadium as chaotic scenes erupt ahead of Saudi Pro League showdown

Al-Ittihad fans have stormed into a stadium in scenes of major disorder in Saudi Arabia.

The Pro League side that signed Portuguese winger Jota from Celtic in the summer for a whopping £25million, and also recruited high-profile names such as Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante, are sitting pretty at the top of the table. They face Al Fayha, the team that brought in Rangers star Fashion Sakala in the summer for a fee worth a reported £4million to Michael Beale's men. But ahead of the seemingly run-of-the-mill league encounter, fans have taken matters into their own hands with punters barging their way through the gates to get access to the stadium.

Ittihad away fans were caught up in a right scuffle that was widely shared on social media, with some young fans and security guards looking shaken up by the incident. A portion of fans shove security out of the way before the gates are prized open by the more supporters. It looks as if a mass brawl is about to ensue with some members of the crowd looking less than impressed.

After a few moments of madness, the crowd dies down as punters begin to flood in through the concourse, chanting and singing along before the clip ends. Nuno Espirito Santo's men are without hitman Benzema, and the former Celtic star with both suffering injuries in recent weeks.
