Rising star Ben Doak will look to give Steve Clarke food for thought along with his Scotland U21 teammates with places on the flight to Germany up for grabs.

Scot Gemmill 's U21s continue their qualifiers and a big to reach Euro 2025 with a tough test against Belgium having kickstarted their campaign with back-to-back victories secured over Hungary and Malta in October Hungary at Fir Park in their last outing. So far only defeat has come to 2023 finalists Spain in their opening fixture - and if the U21's have aspirations of reaching a major tournament like the senior side a big result may be needed in Roeselare with the Belgian sitting in second spot.

And with Clarke's men midway through a double header it is a chance for the boss to take a look at some of the prospects who could make a late case to book a spot on the flight to Germany. Liverpool wonderkid Doak appears to be leading the wildcard picks for Euro 2024.

Aberdeen's Connor Barron and Sturm Graz star Max Johnston - who was called up to the senior side for the friendly clash with France - will also look to catch the eye. Belgium will be no pushovers having secured three wins from three and sitting in second spot in Group B.
