Vital Toulouse clash chosen for Sky Sports coverage

Toulouse Olympique’s away trip to Hull KR has been moved to Thursday, August 4, to be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

The game was originally scheduled for Sunday, August 7, and wasn’t originally picked for Sky Sports coverage.

It means the Round 22 clash will be one of three televised fixtures, including Channel 4’s next Super League game.

The clash at Craven Park could prove to be a crucial one for Sylvain Houles’ side, who battle it out with Wakefield in the fight for Super League survival.

The French outfit moved off the foot of the table after recording their fifth win of the season with a 20-6 triumph over Leeds.

Wigan host Warrington on the Friday – August 5 – selected by Sky Sports.

Super League then returns to free-to-air broadcasting on Sunday August 7. Channel 4 visits Totally Wicked Stadium for the first time. St Helens host Castleford Tigers with a 1:00pm kick-off.

Thursday night Super League returns this week as Leeds host Wigan at Headingley Stadium. It will be a part of a double-header live on Sky Sports, as the side’s Women’s teams go head-to-head with a 5:30pm kick-off.

On Friday night, Hull FC host Castleford as both sides look to cement their places in the Super League play-offs.

During Round 21, Wigan host Hull KR live on Sky Sports Arena on Thursday, July 28. It means Danny McGuire’s side will be televised back-to-back.

Castleford then host Wakefield on the Friday, with an 8:00pm kick-off.

That weekend will then see the Championship Summer Bash take place at Leeds’ Headingley Stadium. All seven fixtures to be televised on Premier Sports.
