Update emerges on Keane Lewis-Potter’s Hull City future

According to Hull Live, Brentford remain front-runners to sign the forward.

The England U21 international had an exceptional season for the Tigers, in which he scored 12 goals in the Championship as the team finished 19th in the table.

The Bees had a January offer of £8 million rejected by Hull, and now the Premier League side is looking to reignite their interest in the 21-year old.

However, Hull Live also suggested other reports claiming Leeds United are interested in making a move for the player are wide of the mark.

West Ham are also seen as an unlikely destination for Lewis-Potter, although the Hammers are interested in the player.

Previous reports suggesting Everton lodged an initial bid of £2.5 million are also said to not be true.

There is another top flight club understood to be interested in the youngster, but a move to Tottenham is not seen as viable this window.

Speculation surrounding the player is set to continue for the next few weeks as the next destination in his career is yet to be decided and no formal offers have been received by Hull.

Lewis-Potter is a hugely exciting young figure of Championship football and could go on to become a top level player.

But there is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding his future, with no real indication that anything will be decided before pre-season gets underway.

A move to the Premier League would be deserved based on his performances last season.

However, he should be aiming to be playing regularly next season and that should be the biggest factor in determining who he plays for.
