Unai Emery names three key Manchester United players and explains Aston Villa's plan to win

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery says his side must stop Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana from playing out from the back in their upcoming Premier League fixture if they are to win.

United travel to Villa Park on Sunday to face an Aston Villa side that has seen their hopes of a top four finish stumble somewhat in recent weeks. Last weekend's 5-0 win over relegation-threatened Sheffield United was only Villa's second win in the Premier League since Christmas and Emery's side we dumped out of the FA Cup in their fourth round replay against Chelsea midweek.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the game, Emery highlighted Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot and Casemiro as being key players for United.

Admitting the upcoming match is crucial, the Villa boss said: "It's a new challenge for us, it's a new challenge for our supporters and it's a new challenge in Villa Park to feel strong like we were. This is a challenge. We have to be together, we have to use our positive energy everybody. Each individual fan has to support us with their energy.

"Even like that, it's going to be a very, very difficult match because they will need to get points and close the difference to us in the table. When we're facing matches like this of course we have to be consistent in 38 matches but it's a key match. We have to try to create a great atmosphere with our supporters."
