UFC 276: Sean O'Malley shows off sparring skills ahead of event

Sean O’Malley is set to return to the octagon as part of UFC 276, and he showed off some of his recent sparring work in a video uploaded to YouTube.

O’Malley will be entering the octagon on Saturday 2nd July 2022 to take on Pedro Munhoz in a bantamweight division fight.

With the hype surrounding the flamboyant fighter continuing to gain steam, many fight fans will be hoping that he can enter the cage and put on a show once again at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

O’Malley released the training video on his YouTube channelshowing off his striking and wrestling takedown defence ability at MMA Lab.

The United States-based fighter enters the octagon with a 15-1-0 record thus far, with 73% of his wins coming via KO/TKO.

O’Malley could be one of the most exciting strikers that we have seen in the octagon in quite some time, but his prep for takedowns is certainly interesting.

O’Malley’s takedown accuracy is also 50% as opposed to Munhoz’s 20%, although Munhoz is strong when it comes to his own defensive abilities in wrestling, with the bantamweight fighter being able to stuff 81% of the takedown attempts on him compared to Suga’s 64%.

‘Suga’ has a huge advantage against Munhoz when it comes to throwing strikes, as he
