UFC 276: MMA legend added to fight card
UFC 276 is only a week away, and one of the bouts on the card had to be cancelled. Now, we’re going to see an MMA legend make their return to the octagon.
Bobby Green has had to be taken out of his scheduled contest with Jim Miller, and a replacement has already been confirmed by the company for the fight card.
The bout will be taking place on the Prelims for the PPV event, and the returning legend took the fight on short notice after their own contest had to be removed from UFC Fight Night last week.
A recent report from ESPN’s Brett Okamoto originally indicated that Green is now out of his scheduled bout against Miller.
He tweeted: “Bobby Green is out of next week’s fight against Jim Miller for undisclosed reasons. Cowboy Donald Cerrone will fill his spot against Jim Miller at UFC 276 at 170 pounds, per UFC. Miller’s 40th UFC fight, Cowboy’s 38th (and 48th UFC/WEC appearance combined).”

It is not currently confirmed by Green had to pull out of the fight, but the UFC has now made the new contest official on their site.
‘Cowboy’ vs Miller should be a great contest for longtime fans of MMA, and as mentioned it will be taking place on the Prelims for the UFC 276 PPV event.
