Two new signings, Zirkzee decision made - Man United’s dream line-up for Fulham opener

Erik ten Hag could be able to make several changes to his Manchester United starting line-up heading into next season.

United have already had a busy few weeks of the summer transfer window. Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee have been signed by the Reds this month and both will have ambitions of earning a spot in Ten Hag's starting XI for the forthcoming campaign.

The 2024/25 season gets underway on August 16 for United where they will host Fulham at Old Trafford. Between now and then, Ten Hag will be busy working with his squad to prepare for the fixture and the campaign ahead.

Work will also be underway behind the scenes to bring in further new signings. One of the players to be heavily linked with a move to United is Manuel Ugarte.

The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is thought to be on a midfield shortlist for United this summer. He is alongside Benfica's Joao Neves, Monaco's Youssouf Fofana and Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi in being linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Were United to sign Ugarte he would likely drop into the defensive midfield role in the team. Alongside the Uruguay international could be Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes in the middle of the park.

Andre Onana will likely start the season as United's first-choice goalkeeper. In defence, there has already been plenty of movement and there could be more to come.
