It’s the last day of Christmas and the gifts are still rolling in for Scotland’s managers.
Philippe Clement is now being linked with a man who could bolster his beleaguered backline. Marseille’s Bamo Meite – who was said to be eyed by Rangers back in the summer – is again reportedly back on the Ibrox radar. Clement revealed new CEO Patrick Stewart will reveal all this week regarding transfers but the likes of Cyriel Dessers and Rabbi Matondo are expected to be moved on in this window.
Over the other side of Glasgow and Celtic’s Stephen Welsh has arrived in Belgium to complete his loan move to KV Mechelen. The Scottish champions have agreed terms on a loan deal until the summer.
