Man Utd and Rangers LIVE as rattled Ruben Amorim fires back at journalists
It's set to be a huge occasion under the lights at Old Trafford as Manchester United and Rangers meet in the Europa League.
Ruben Amorim - fresh off blasting his team for their defeat to Brighton in the Premier League - returns to the dugout as he looks to transform fortunes at the Red Devils. But before the action takes place on the park, it is all set to kick off in the media room as the former Braga and Sporting boss faces a grilling from both the English and Scottish press at 1.15pm.
He is said to have smashed a TV in anger over the defeat at the weekend that leaves his side in turmoil in the EPL. He's won just six of his 16 games in charge and speaking after that defeat to Brighton, he branded his team 'maybe the worst' in club history. That is likely to be raised with a host of other big questions as he looks for a big reaction against Philippe Clement and his troops.
Speaking of Clement, he will then face the room of journalists at 4pm as he looks to engineer a famous result. The Light Blues haven't been shy of producing in the Europa League over the years and they will be out to add another scalp to the CV.
Both sides are in the battle to finish in the top eight and as with any Battle of Britain encounter, the spotlight is firmly on and the drama begins right here at Amorim's press conference followed by Clement.
