Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley is aware of interest from Leicester City but has no plans to push for a move to the King Power Stadium.
The London-born Denmark under-21 international has been named as a target for City this summer, with manager Brendan Rodgers hoping to sign at least two new central midfielders as part of his squad revamp. But any plans to raid his former club have now been scuppered.
O’Riley says Celtic is the "perfect" place for him and wants to stay to play in the Champions League, having helped them win the Scottish Premiership title last season. The 21-year-old moved to Parkhead in January in a £1.5m switch from MK Dons.
