Tragedy as man in his 20s found dead 'in caravan' at car park

A man in his 20s was tragically found dead 'in a caravan' on a car park in Manchester on Tuesday night (March 5).

Police descended on the scene, behind the Queens Hotel Pub, off Sedgeford Road, in Miles Platting, at around 6pm. The body of a man, aged in his 20s, was then discovered.

Residents living locally have claimed the man's body was found in a caravan in the car park of the closed pub. No further details about the incident have been revealed by police.

Greater Manchester Police have since confirmed they were called to the scene and that there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death.

Pictures taken on Tuesday evening showed a police vehicle in attendance as they responded to the concern for welfare call. The man's death has since been referred to the coroner.
