Police release crucial details and photos after woman's body found near Manchester beauty spot

Police are appealing for help identifying a woman whose body was recovered near Chorlton Water Park. Officers were called at 11:10am on Thursday (March 21) to a stretch of the River Mersey near the south Manchester beauty spot after the discovery was made.

They say they have still not been able to identify the woman or determine her cause of death. As an investigation continues, detectives are now asking the public to come forward and help them identify her.
