According to Spanish SPORT Spurs are interested in signing Barcelona forward Memphis Depay. The Dutchman has just one year remaining on his deal at the Camp Nou and the Catalan giants are eager to offload him.

Tottenham winger Steven Bergwijn has taken a big step towards leaving the club after a £25.5 million transfer fee was agreed with Dutch champions Ajax this summer.

The Athletic report that the medical will take place this week and that despite interest from a number of Premier League sides, he has decided to return to the Eredivisie. Fabrizio Romano also reported the news, adding that a fee of €30 million (£25.5 million) has been agreed between the two clubs.

Spurs players were back in training this week as preparations begin for the 2022-23 campaign but with a slightly different role for the manager. Conte's coaching staff were conducting the session, with praise being given out and words of encouragement for the Spurs players.

The Italian was seen standing on the side and looking focused, but not very vocal. This could be an indication of his assessment, which he is going to have to do throughout the summer to ensure he goes into the 2022/23 season confident in all of his players.
