Top U-15 teams in Lagos to compete at Seamoriow Sports League

Lagos is gearing up for a thrilling football showdown as the Seamoriow Sports U-15 League Championship prepares to bring together the best youth teams across the city. From August 22 to 27, the Seamoriow Sports Complex at Islamic Bus Stop, Ikotun, will host this much-anticipated tournament, which promises to be a carnival-like event for football fans.

Endorsed by the Lagos State Football Association, the Seamoriow Sports U-15 League is set to showcase the finest young football talents, with an array of attractive prizes up for grabs. The competition is expected to produce future stars for Nigeria’s U-17 national team, the Golden Eaglets.

The stakes are high, with the tournament offering substantial rewards. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Best Coach will each receive N200,000, while the winners of the Golden Boot and Golden Glove will walk away with N150,000 each. The winning team will claim a massive N800,000, with the 1st runner-up earning N500,000 and the 2nd runner-up pocketing N250,000.

The tournament will officially commence with a media conference and draws ceremony on August 22 at 10am. The grand finale is slated for September 7, where the champions will be crowned, and the excitement of youth football will culminate in a celebration of talent and sportsmanship.

Organisers of the tournament have promised a vibrant event, noting that the Seamoriow Sports U-15 League aims to continue producing future football stars, particularly for Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets.
