Todd Cantwell suffers mortifying Rangers indignity as diehard sides with Sutton and fires loaded Hotline warning

Chris Sutton and Todd Cantwell's handbag-swinging has caught the eye of the Hotliners and it doesn't seem like either of them are covering themselves in glory.

John Henderson, Neilston, said: "As a Rangers man, I find myself agreeing with Chris Sutton's comments about Todd Cantwell's stupidity in trying to get involved with the media. As a new Rangers player he has a long way to go. Start doing it on the park and then he can make his comments. In fact I'd prefer if he just kept quiet."

Jimmy Mac, Glasgow, said: "Chris Sutton needs to admit to himself he is 100 per cent an attention seeker and a Celtic cheerleader. He plays up to Celtic and their fans every week without fail, which is undeniable but the statement regarding Cantwell's "bang average career" from an ex-player who cost Chelsea £10million in 1999 plus £10 grand per week salary and only scored ONE GOAL? Paul McCormack, Coatbridge, said: "On paper looks like Rangers have signed up a real manager in Phillipe Clement, with a CV to back up why he was hired. One of his first jobs surely must be to reign in one or two of his players social media content.
They need to have more influence on the field first and put their media influencer ambitions on the back burner."

Talking of Clement, Barrie Urquhart , Clydebank, is unconvinced, saying: "Clement is totally the wrong fit for the club. He has no knowledge of the Scottish game apart from speaking to Thomas Buffel.
