Three-word phrase will get you a free meal at Morrisons this August

Everyone across the UK will have the opportunity to enjoy a free meal this August, thanks to a unique collaboration between Warburtons and Morrisons. The 'Ask for Ellen' campaign is set to launch soon.

Between August 5 and 25, diners at any of the 397 Morrisons Cafes nationwide can enjoy complimentary toasted crumpets with various toppings, simply by using the phrase 'Ask for Ellen'. This initiative is designed to help families during the school holidays, offering relief from holiday hunger and the added financial burden when children are off school.

Starting next week, 100,000 free portions of crumpets will be made available across Morrisons Cafes for those who use the codeword. The offer extends throughout the day and will last as long as stocks do.

With the donations over the summer period, nearly half a million crumpet portions have been shared since the campaign began last year.

In addition to the free food, Warburtons and Morrisons are providing children with colouring and activity sheets to keep them entertained over the summer break. Chris Strong, Senior Buying Manager for Morrisons Cafe, expressed excitement about the renewal of the partnership with Warburtons, stating: "We are thrilled to collaborate with Warburtons to bring this fantastic campaign to life once again.", reports Wales Online.

Jonathan Warburton, Chairman of Warburtons, also spoke on the community impact of the campaign: "As a family-run business, we have always fostered a strong sense of community. That's why we are so proud to bring back 'Ask for Ellen' for a fourth time. Since launching last year, we will have served almost half a million portions of crumpets, including the 100,000
