'Thierry Henry vibes!' - Man United fans go wild over Rasmus Hojlund goal in Denmark training

Rasmus Hojlund has certainly endeared himself to the Manchester United fanbase and it seems he can do no wrong away from Old Trafford either.

Hojlund has netted three times in eight United outings with all of his goals coming in the Champions League. The attacker had never competed in the main part of the competition before his arrival at United, albeit had taken part in the qualifying rounds in previous seasons.

The United attacker has come in as Erik ten Hag’s answer to his striker problem. The Dane arrived in a deal that could rise to £72m after it became clear top target Harry Kane would not be sold to a Premier League side.

Hojlund's debut was delayed after arriving with a back injury but he finally made his bow in the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal before joining up with Denmark for last month’s internationals. He is now back with his international teammates ahead of their Euro 2024 qualifiers against Kazakhstan and San Marino.

Hojlund has six goals to his name in the competition so far and will hope to build on that now he is back up to full fitness. The 20-year-old showed his intent in training with a classy goal during a shooting drill.

The striker received the ball with his back to goal and managed to manufacture space before back-heeling the ball past the goalkeeper and into the net. The clip was shared online, sending United fans into a frenzy.

Users on X, formerly Twitter, and Instagram have had their say, with many praising the forward and telling him to replicate his skill when he returns to action at United.
