The Rock: Nia Jax reveals exactly when WWE roster discovered Dwayne Johnson relation

Since leaving WWE last year, Nia Jax has been open with answering questions from both media and fans about her career with the company, all the way up to her release.

Jax was named among a number of other wrestlers who were let go in 2021, including Tegan Nox, Eva Marie, and Ember Moon.

She recently discussed her relation to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and the misconceptions over being related to the wrestling legend.

Tamina is also part of the Anoa’i family, along with Naomi, who is a member by marriage to Jimmy Uso.

Jax has described the lineage as “insane and incredible”, and stressed she will always “pay homage to the family.” However, she also admitted she wanted to go about her wrestling career alone and didn’t tell anyone who she was related to when she first joined the company.

“I wanted to be like everybody else when I first got signed,” she explained. “Somebody had heard that one of the cousins was there, it was actually Becky [Lynch] who found
