Bobby Madden decision to decant down south and continue his refereeing career in the English lower leagues provided some Hotline hilarity.

The whistler's talents have split opinion over the years and there were very few callers thanking him for the memories.

Paul McArdle, Gourock, said: " Rangers will be gutted they didn't pick up a fee for Madden transferring to English football. Madden will be gutted he's missed out on a testimonial at Ibrox and every club who plays against Rangers will rejoice."
