The perils of boasting a top boss as Rangers stare at the Ange effect just as Celtic suffered

Keeping hold of Philippe Clement for the long term will only see Rangers' trophy count increase, according to his former chairman at Genk.

In an ideal Ibrox world, Clement leads Rangers to the title this year, and the next, and the next and the next before moving on even enters his head. But we know modern football doesn't work that way when the next rung on the ladder can be seen so easily from just over the border.
