It was the busiest month for the Airport since the pandemic and with the summer holidays in full swing, August is predicted to be another popular month with around 100,000 passengers expected to pass through the airport every day.

Manchester Airport bosses said Mallorca was the most popular destination for holidaymakers, with nearly a quarter of a million passengers flying to Palma. Around 220,000 people flew to Dublin and 179,000 travelled to Alicante.
